Description
During the 1920s, community boosters in Loveland spearheaded a successful effort to establish a National Guard unit in town, primarily as an economy-building and patriotic measure. The 1926 building served for 35 years as the headquarters and training facility for local units of the National Guard.
It is also an important example of the work of Denver architect Sidney G. Frazier, who in addition to his professional career, was a captain in the Colorado National Guard.
